Things I’m excited to wear this Spring! - Part 3

Today brings us to the next 'want to wear' this season!

Sneakers!

Thanks to mainstream menswear trainers receiving a high fashion overhaul, and celebrities such as Tinie Tempah and Kanye West debuting innovative streetwear of wearing a suit with trainers, it has now become commonplace for the everyday gent.

Suits with Trainers

Pairing suits with trainers define confidence. This modern way of dressing down a suit breaks all the codes of classic menswear. However the leather brogue, loafer and derby is still the best option for a formal engagement.

How to Wear Vans with a Suit

Consider dressing a pair of Vans slip-ons by coordinating them with chinos in preference over smarter dress trousers. A slightly roomier fit will lend itself to the Vans skate aesthetic. Keep the colour palette light and season appropriate.

How to Wear Converse with a Suit

A pair of Converse Chuck Taylor’s will certainly make you recollect past memories of childhood explorations. They’ve become the shoe of choice to coordinate with two-piece suits this summer. The likes of singer celebrity; Labrinth occasionally opts for a pastel blazer and trouser combination with a pair of original black Chuck’s. You’ll be the most relaxed, yet sharpest man on the street.

How to Wear High-End Designer Shoes with a Suit

The best shoe investment for a suit might be the classic leather loafer, but to change up the style status quo think more left field and invest in another high-end shoe design, the luxury trainer.

You can look at Coach’s menswear trainers that offer three popular designs C202 sneaker, leather low top sneaker and York lace sneaker, they boast a sleek and minimal genuine leather upper in a graphic colour palette, ideal for that transitional period between summer and autumn.

For minimalists, the one luxury brand the British luxury fashion label Alexander McQueen has created simple oversized sneakers. McQueen’s signature skull print is also featured on the skater slip-on design, accented with a chunky sole.

Diesel is also on the market to look at. The popular Italian fashion label is known for its comfy jeans, where they have this season translated into their sneakers! Diesels Denim Sneakers includes denim jean detailing like pockets and rivets, coming in with minimal colourways in washed canvas, leather and distressed denim.

Versace Collection and Versace Jeans

Enough said. We all know what Versace does to a person. Mad Steez, any sneaker by this label will bump you to the next level with a suit!
